OUR COMMITMENT TO ANIMAL WELFARE
Bellerose collections are developed through long-term partnerships with manufacturers and artisans across different regions of the world.
Around 40% of our garments are produced in Europe, with the remainder crafted by trusted partners selected for their expertise, quality standards and long-standing collaboration with our teams.
We aim to produce thoughtfully and avoid unnecessary overproduction. Whenever possible, collections are transported by sea rather than air freight.
Animal-origin materials such as wool, cashmere, mohair, angora, leather and down are sourced according to strict welfare and traceability standards.
Among others:
- angora is exclusively sourced from sheared rabbits,
- all down is Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified,
- merino wool comes from non-mulesed farms,
- and leather is sourced exclusively as a by-product of the food industry.
All suppliers are expected to comply with international social and environmental standards throughout the production process.
