"A NEOCLASSIC FROM HIS ETHNIC COLLECTIONS".
An ethical jewel that speaks to the memory.
Aurélia's trademark... Seashells.
Particularly the Caurie, which she owes to her visit to the Island of Gorée years ago, where traditionally the future is read in these lovely white shells.
Marked by Africa, its exoticism and rituals became the designer's DNA.
By continuing her travels around the world and her encounters, Aurélia will create a line of jewellery in which her tender 80's, her ethnic aspirations, raw and primitive, will blend. Like the recycled vinyl African beads she has been working with since the beginning, with a subtle, non-ostentatious femininity, of a free and timeless woman.
Aurélia wishes to transmit her passion for craftsmanship through her collections. Self-taught and always on the lookout, she evolves through different residencies and apprenticeships that she regularly practices in order to enrich her know-how.
