• Wool is a natural fiber known for its durability and warmth, but it can be sensitive to rough handling and heat.
• For best results, we recommend to hand wash wool items in lukewarm water using baby shampoo or a mild wool detergent. Avoid hot water and harsh agitation to prevent damage.
• Spot clean stains by applying a small amount of detergent to the affected area and blotting gently. Never rub.
• After washing, place your knit between two towels and roll them without twisting to absorb excess water.
• Lay the garment flat on a clean towel to remove additional moisture and let it air dry in a well ventilated room away from sunlight and heat.
• Never hang your wool garments. Fold them in a cool, dry place, preferably in a breathable fabric bag or drawer, and use cedar blocks to protect against potential moth damage.
• If your wool garment feels compressed, gently shake it out to remove creases. This will help restore its natural look and softness.
• To minimize pilling, avoid wearing rough or abrasive fabrics with your wool items. If pills do develop, use a fabric shaver to remove them but make sure to handle it with care to prevent holes.
